Learn how to professionally mix and master your track and pitch to record labels. Establish yourself as a DJ and producer in the music industry the easy way!
With our expert guidance and co-engineering we will help you create and release your own original track of any genre. You can pitch your finished work to a range of record labels, self release with our guidance or release on LSA Records.
To make it as an artist in the music industry you have to be releasing tracks but it's often the most daunting task for any newbie producer. We've simplified the process with our Mixing and Mastering Course. It's designed to get you up and running as a professional artist in record time.
As part of the course we will teach you how to professionally mix and master your track and help you finish it ready for release. We will co-engineer your track to make sure its at a releasable standard. We'll also help you launch your artist profile and promote your release.
If you choose to release with LSA your track will be available on all major platforms including Beatport, iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and many more.
There are six lessons in this course. Each lesson is two hours long.
You can choose your own lesson times with one our senior producers and lessons are taught one-to-one. Sessions are available seven days a week between the hours of 10am and 10pm.
Bring your best track(s) to your first lesson. We will then analyse your productions and see where improvements can be made in the mix. Our expert producers will fine tune your mixdown using both software plugins and hardware. During this process you will be learning how to mix your work to a professional standard.
Once your track is finished and mixed professionally we will show you how to master your tracks. During the mastering process you will learn how to master your own productions while adhering to industry-standards.
Once your master is ready we will show you how to analyse it before finally pitching it to record labels. We will help you create a shortlist of record labels to contact. You will also be taught how to self-release your work or you have the option to release with LSA Records.
To enrol in this course you must have completed our full music production course including Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels. In addition, you should have at least one finished track ready for the mastering process.
Logic Pro
Ableton Live
You have the choice to learn how to produce music at LSA on Ableton Live or Logic Pro. These programs allow you to create your own original music from scratch and are used professionally in the music industry. We will also be using the Isotope Ozone 10 Mixing and Mastering suite alongside hardware in the studio.
Son of Abe is an LSA production graduate who has gone through our mixing and mastering program. He's now established as a producer selling records on a daily basis and featuring as a headline DJ on international gigs.
Son of Abe's debut release, Microwaves, released on LSA Records in 2019 garnered the support from a roll-call of headline DJs and tastemakers including but not limited to: Shadow Child, Rex The Dog, James Zabiela, Blond:ish, DJ Barely Legal, Richie Hawtin, Chris Lake, Erick Morillo, John Digweed, Vanilla Ace, Roger Sanchez, Carl Craig and many more.
The release is bolstered with three remixes secured by LSA and created by some of the industries hottest names including Warboy, Venice Calypso and Marc Spence. His artist profiles are now established on all the important platforms including Beatport and Resident Advisor.
His records are on sale or available to stream internationally in all the key places including iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Deezer, Spotify, Beatport, Juno Records and many more.
The release even landed some key chart positions including an entry into the top twenty Electro House chart! As part of LSA's press campaign, we secured a full-length interview for this artist in esteemed music publication NOTION. We have also secured him a headline international gig at for Luzztro Records in Warsaw, Poland.

For a successful release, you will need to follow our guidance and instructions and create a professional presence online as a new artist! You'll be joining a label with highly established acts!
LSA will create all release artwork and press releases. The artist must provide LSA with a biography and press photo.
You can contact us by email for an up to date sales report. Any profits from sales will be paid annually.
